You know the year is ending on the tech world when you start hearing leaks of mid-end smartphones that didn’t make it through the limelight for the entire year. Take for example that Motorola Cliq XT device we reported last February which was also called as the “quench” on its hocus-pocus stage that proves to be an efficient type of smartphone, but won’t give you any bragging rights either when you hold it and display it with your office-mates carrying an iPhone 4 or Nexus S device.
Today, an interesting report came out from the blogosphere revealing this “Begonia” smartphone which was later called as the Cliq 2. Obviously, it will be under T-mobile carrier like its older brother and so far, the only thing you can have with this device are these pictures.

According to CPS, Motorola Cliq 2 will be sporting a new slider-keyboard form-factor under an orange UI experience. It will have a 5MP Camera W/ LED Flash, GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi support and some pundits claim this will utilized a new set of MOTOBLUR widgets along with a new platform version. Expect its release date to be happening on January 19 and will have its cameo show at the CES event. So hang on tight!
