Motorola reveals its eighth Android phone at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. Quench, the new Motorola phones alias, will be exclusively available through T-Mobile USA. It has a cool feature that lets you track your phone via GPS if it gets lost and you can also remotely wipe all infos and save them on Motoblur’s servers. Screen is a 3.1 inches HGVA 320 x 480 touch screen, it also got a autofocus 5 megapixels camera with flash led and a continuous digital zoom.
The Cliq XT key has a fast 3G,GPS and WIFI with full HTML browser and an Android web kit with Adobe Flash Lite, complete with navigational touchpad. The cliq XT runs on Android 1.5 which lets you access to Google’s services such as Gtalk, Picasa, Google Maps and Google Voice Search. This smartphone also supports various email clients like IMAP,POP3,Windows Live and Yahoo. The music player is integrated with Amazon’s Mp3 store, Last.fm, Tune Wiki, YouTube, GoTV and SoundHound.
This smart hand held phone is integrated with a 5-way navigation that comes in dedicated keys such for volume control, camera, power/lock, home, back, search and menu. With its built-in SWYPE technology, typing is made faster and easier across the screen keyboard. The battery type is 1420 mAh Li ion that can last up to 500 hrs of continuous use. It also has a pre- installed 2 GB microSD and can support up to 32 GB microSD. Two interchangeable covers of two different colors (Licorice and Purple)can be chosen by purchasers. Price is yet to be known but rumors have it that the Motorola Cliq XT will be available from the market by March 10 of this year.
