Guess what? Motorola has revealed its newest tablet! But what is even more interesting is that it will be meant to work, according to its leaked box image, as a “dedicated controller for the connected. What does that mean? We’re not quite sure, either. Though, it seems that it can stream a wide selection of movies and can also be used as a remote.

Typically ideal for the movie buffs, the Motorola tablet will be called as ‘Corvair’. It flaunts a 6-inch capacitive touch screen along with its 4000 mAh high capacity battery, built-in WiFi and powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Apart from the above specs, the elegantly designed Corvair will also be showcasing its IR (Infrared) control & RF4CE support, ZigBee-based Radio Frequency control protocol, allowing the tablet to communicate with other devices in proximity.
Leaked box shots of the tablet also indicate that it has been optimized for low cost functions. Thus, one shouldn’t really expect that the tablet will be packed with high-end features as it will basically be intended for media streaming and wireless control. Currently, no one can really confirm if the Motorola Corvair tablet will be offered by the companies or if it will be available for direct retail. The price of the remote control tablet is still a mystery.
