It was last September when we first saw Motorola Defy, a 3.7-inch smartphone that didn’t really defy the market along with its mid-end specifications and mediocre capabilities. Likewise, the real selling point of this device was its cheap price under T-Mobile for $100 with a carrier plan.

Likewise, for those who are dreaming of its second coming packed with a bit more high-end specs than the former, a report from TIMN suggest Motorola Defy+ is about to arrive this year packing with all the things you like with the rugged phone along with a few specs bumps for its processor, using 1GHz T1 OMAP 3620 CPU instead of the previous 800MHz OMAP 3610 and shipping with the latest Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) platform. However, there’s no details yet about its display, camera and storage so pundits assume it would remain the same.
The kicker? Well, our insiders take a peek on its supported frequency and it turns out Defy+ may support AT&T carrier this time with 850 / 1900 / 2100 HSPA network. Hopefully, Moto would still stick to its sweet price under a Benjamin along with its ability to withstand damage when your kid throws it at the wall.
Release date or any details about its shipping still pending.
