This MOTOBLUR key feature is claimed by Motorola to be especially premeditated for devices using Google’s open-source Android mobile operating system. This solution allows users to sync contacts from home and personal email services (mot especially Gmail)with social networking sites’ (such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace)messages, posts, photos, etc. Users can utilize the Happenings Widget to transfer their social networking sites’ updates on the phone’s home screen, flick through the current updates and respond accordingly via the slide-out full QWERTY keyboard.
MOTOBLUR also accounts for the Universal Inbox that collects texts, messages and emails into the single home screen. As for security, all contacts, log information, screen customizations, email and other messages are automatically backed up on the protected MOTOBLUR portal. This portal also helps the user located a misplaced phone through its fully integrated GPS. Should a device gets lost or misplaced, the Remote wipe feature instantly clears all information.
