It’s funny how every smartphone being released by a company makes a newbie believe it’s the best gadget out there only to realize that after a month, everything is back to square-one again. I am not saying we’re against that reality but let’s just say, its how technology evolves and if you aren’t ready, you might be swept away by its fury.

Just like today, when Motorola unveils two of its global phone. First one is the Droid 2 Pro, and the other will be Droid 2 Global. Both are CDMA / GSM handset and this certainly looks like a blessing for eastern countries to get a taste of a high-end android phone. We previously covered the specifications for the Droid 2 Global here, but just to give you a quick wrap-up. This new smartphone packs a 1.2GHz processor under a 3.7 inch capacitive multitouch display (480 x 854 resolution) complete with a QWERTY keyboard (just like what a Droid phone should be) its other goodies are a 5MP autofucs camera, MicroSDHC slot (expandable up to 32 GB) WiFi / Bluetooth support – and it’s a global phone!
So far, Verizon is revealing this to their store and just what we predicted; it will be tagged for 199.99 USD under a 2-year contract with 100USD Mail-in-rebate and you can order this one today. Just take note of the impending data-plan you need to pay, probably the same with Droid 2 Pro. Come to think of it, Droid 2 Global is a really good android phone indeed, but be sure that it will be obsolete in one year and that’s a fact — just like any super-gadget in town.
