Remember the first Motorola Milestone which was teased on the same month last year? For all we know, it has undergone on a series of updates going on with the name XT720 for its version one and Motorola Milestone 2 for its second generation. Well, it appears today, there’s a welcoming news coming from the blogosphere that this Droid 2 GSM version once revealed on USA last September has finally found its official shipping date today on Europe and it was later on revealed by the online shop Expansys that it’s available on their catalogue box now for 380 euros / SIM Free. So far, the only details for its carrier is it will be landing on Vodafone with different tariffs (as usual) on its data plan. Like Voice 30 (24 months) for 30 euros featuring 600 minutes of calls on any network with 500 MB Internet, Voice 35 (18 and 24 months) for 35 euros with 600 / 900 minutes of calls and the same internet plan.

So far, there’s no telling if the Milestone 2 would land on other European carriers but so far, this is your closest bet. Anyway, just to give you a refresher, its specifications cater a 480 x 854 resolution under a Gorilla Glass frame on a 3.7 inch capacitive form-factor, 5MP camera, 720p HD / 30 FPS support, Quad Band, Flash 10.1, WiFi tethering and it will use MotoBlur for its platform.
You got a good Droid-like phone here coming from Moto.
