Information regarding an upcoming Motorola mobile phone has been leaked. According to some ongoing rumors, Motorola is preparing for the upcoming launch of the Motorola WX445. Apparently, this Motorola phone will be exclusively distributed for Verizon.
Motorola WX445 is just the model name of this upcoming phone. They say that it will be released under a different phone name. A number of people who had seen the initial specs of this phone based on these leaked information finds the Motorola WX445 as being just an ordinary and low-end type of Android phone. In fact, it will be released running the Android 2.1 with Motoblur operating system.
Some even describe this phone as “cheap looking” and finds it not impressive at all. As of present, specific details regarding its features and specs has not yet been detailed by Motorola. Let us try to check out its initial specs based on the initial information available:

- It will sport a touchcreen ranging from 2.5 to 3 inches
- Includes a built-in flashless digital camera (pixel count is still unknown)
- Comes with a pretty light 1170mAh battery
As of present, those are the only available information regarding this device. Some tipsters who sent information to Engadget said that the WX445 looks like the Palm Pre less the keyboard and its looks a little cheaper.
This may not be a complete information about the WX445 and mainly all speculations. But it may already give potential customers who intend to purchase an Android phone in the future an idea of what this phone will be like.
Motorola and Verizon has not yet announced the official specs, release date and price of this upcoming unit. Based on these information, it appears that this upcoming phone from Motorola is not a threat at all to HTC EVO 4G. It seems that is just a cheap device for ordinary use. But this we have to prove.
We’ll just have to wait for the official announcement of Motorola and Verizon and see for ourselves if this specs that leaked into the gadget websites like Engadget is accurate enough or it may be just a strategy for Motorola and Verizon. Who knows, they might really be preparing for a better phone than what we are expecting.
