Now here’s a major recap for all of you boys and gals out there who’s planning to get the soon-to-be messiah tablet for Android, we all know as Motorola Xoom.
First stop, you should know that it’s going to have two versions: a WiFi only version which will have a release date on February 24 whereas a WiFi + 4G model has also been developed and it will have the same release date and you can expect this to arrive on Best Buy and other major consumer-electronic stores next week.

In our recent report, there seems to be a new leak that Motorola Xoom will have a silver-color on its back plate instead of the usual glossy noir tone. For those who are wondering if this is fact or fiction, you should know that it’s the real deal! As pundits claim at the MWC event, its silver version is going to be available and it will support WiFi only or 4G as well.
Now, the debate comes about the Motorola Xoom 4G price. As you can see, the WiFi only model will have a price of 699 USD whereas the 4G version would be tagged at 800 bucks. Coming from the horse’s mouth, the reason for this is simple. Sanjay Jha (CEO, Motorola) believes that this price is justified because of the benefits users will gain once you feel the blazingly fast connection of an LTE network soaring up to 50 megabit per second latency.
Again, the 4G is a choice for those who can shellout more money and if you’ll ask me, there’s nothing wrong with that. The case isn’t like the price gap between WiFi only and the 4G version is 500 bucks am I correct?
