Last week, we managed to get hold of some images claimed to be the Motorola Milestone 3 nee Droid 3 of Asia. As of today, Moto decides to unveil this and its specifications are something we already expected
But before we get into that, you should know that Droid 3 is still not yet revealed on USA, and it’s pretty interesting to see that its Asian counterpart got the first PR shot on the blogosphere.
As for the device, it will also be called as the Motorola XT883 sporting a dual-core Tegra 2 processor (CPU-clock undisclosed), a qHD display of 540 x 960 under its 4-inch touchscreen. It comes with an 8MP shooter camera with LED flash and can play 1080p (full HD) videos, a front-facing cam for video-chat purposes; microSD slot that can be expanded up to 32GB and of course, its platform will be using Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).
Just like its predecessor, the device comes with a full QWERTY slide-out keyboard — which made the Droid original really popular, supports Adobe Flash, includes SHOP4APPS – an exclusive App store developed by Moto for China, and it even has a HD Dock like the Atrix 4G (sold separately).
If you are interested, the Milestone 3 (XT883) will have its release on Q3 available on China; frequency band should be acceptable on other Asian countries as well.
