Just because MSI has started releasing its high-end gaming laptops and future tablets doesn’t mean it has already forgotten to create mid-end notebooks for consumers to enjoy. Recently today, the company has unveiled the MSI FX600MX notebook packing all the necessary specifications it needs for it to be called as an efficient laptop.
So for its specifications, the FX600MX sports a 15.6 inch backlit LED screen powered by an Intel Core i3/i5 processor (you can customize it upon pre-ordering), it’s fused by a robust Nvidia GeForce 310M discrete graphics card with 512MB display memory for better graphic performance. Just like the Optimus switching technology, this one has a similar feature lying on MSI’s GPU Boost technology – basically, it prolongs your battery life because the system switch your graphics card to low when you are only using applications consuming minimal computer resources. Its monstrous RAM power is customizable up to 8GB DD3 clocked at 1066MHz. For other goodies, it has a 320/500 GB of storage, DVD Super Multi drive for opticals, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 capability, internal HD webcam which can shoot 720p at 30FPS and a 6-Cell Li-on battery.
The company touts that its solid chiclet keyboard is anti-scratch with anti-smudge raised totem seal coating. Plus it maximizes your viewing pleasure with Cinema Pro technology enabling the users to experience full HD (16:9 aspect ratio) with a good audio surround at the comforts of your own notebook. So far, MSI is still too shy to reveal its price but you can bet that it will be near the price of 1K-1.5K USD, considering that its high-end brothers cost around 1.5k+ USD only. While there’s no official release date, you can expect this one to come this holiday now that its press release has been posted.
