A lot of big-named computer companies are based in Taiwan. Among which is MSI or Micro-Star International which manufactures computer hardware. This company is best regarded for its desktop computer motherboards. Aside from these, the MSI company also designs and manufactures graphics cards, basic personal computers, e-notebooks, products used for networking as well as servers, multimedia, consumer electronics and some devices for storage.

From this company’s website can be found a news article which publicly announces that it will introduce some top-choiced Notebooks during the CeBIT 2010. CeBIT is recognized as the largest computer exhibition or trade fair awaited every spring in Hanover, Germany. This year, the expo will be held from March 2-6 with the keynote topic ‘Connected Worlds’.

Among the amazing notebooks to be included in the MSI line is the GT660. This notebook is described by the company as an earthshaking gaming notebook powered by the most advanced Core i7 Quad Processor.

Almost like teasing the public to watch out for them during the CeBIT expo, MSI has revealed some stunning specifications about the GT660. The device is intended to serve as a replacement for a desktop and as early as now, it is dubbed as a leader in sound system layout simply because its sound quality is far better than usual notebook audio. And why not if the device’s multimedia abilities is collaborated with leading stereo manufacturers in the world. The shape of this GT660 is of a black diamond with fire engine trimmings that accounts for the notebook’s modest yet elegant appearance.

Aside from the already stated features, the GT660 also includes an nVIDIA GeForce GTX 285M graphics along with 1GB GDDR3 display memory and three random access memory slots. This yet to be released gadget is the first MSI notebook that will have USB 3.0 ports which are able to convey 4 Gbps of data. Compared to USB 2.0, it is faster by ten times.
