Almost exactly a year ago, we previewed those MSI Wind notebooks debuting for the CES show catering an amazing set of Pine Trail specifications under a sleek type of form-factor. The only caveat at that time was it didn’t mature enough to bolster to become a popular device for the the users.

Today, MSI is trying to do another feat by releasing a Wind device although this time, it would be under a netbook body. Thanks to some insider, this leaked MSI Wind U270 netbook was unearthed featuring an 11.6 inch body powered by a 1.6GHz AMD-based Zacate type of processor (which could be quite interesting), 1366 x 768 resolution, RAM set to 4GB and 320-500GB HDD storage capacity. Its other goodies include, USB 3.0 support, two slots for USB 2.0, HDMI / VGA slot, SD card reader, with no optical drive because it’s a netbook (remember?).
There’s no telling about its price or any release date although, there’s a chance we’ll see this one dangling on the upcoming CES event. As far as the design and specifications are concerned, its performance looked quite snappy not to mention it has a fair thinness on its Bezel with a glossy chrome-like finish for its screen. For the meantime, check out the video impression.
