I guess some things wouldn’t change a bit, and that line goes perfectly well for MSI as it keeps on introducing a new line of Windpad tablets that keeps on leaking, revealing but no actual launching which makes us a bit perplexed here.

As some of you may know, MSI has been revealing its Windpad tablets on the first half of last year but the sad thing is, even if it looks good already, the company always find a way to delay its release date. On today’s CES event, it’s now revealing its latest Windpad model, the Windpad 100w and Windpad 100a and these two will pack a good set of specifications like Intel Oak Trail, processor set to 1.66GHz Atom Menlow Z530 CPU, will be using Windows 7 / Android 7 tablet OS on its launch plus some added goodies like, 32GB SSD for its storage, a whopping 2GB for its RAM and HDMI ports.

On the other hand, the WindPad 100A proved to be a bit disappointing just because of it not using a dual-core Tegra 2 processor as expected on its leak last year but rather, it will just stick on a single-core ARM Cortext A8 type of processor, a undisclosed Android platform and 1G of RAM.
Out of these two, the only one that’s going to have an official release date would be the MSI Windpad 100W which would be available on the first quarter of this year for a price of 499 USD. The Windpad 100A is still undisclosed up to this time but let’s just hope, the company wouldn’t keep our hopes too up again – that is, if you are still hoping!
