The International Consumer Electronics Show a.k.a. CES is a grand technology-related show that features product previews as well as new product announcements. The event is held every January in the Las Vegas Convention Center in United States.

And in relation to this major event, MSI is planning to reintroduce its own version of tablets known as the WindPads. But since its CES that we’re talking about, the company takes a step forward by providing slight modifications towards the aforementioned devices.
The first WindPad will basically feature 10.1-inch display, 1024×600 screen resolution, Windows 7 Home Premium, Intel Atom Oak Trail processor, Multi-touch, mini-HDMI port, mini-USB port, SD card, and accelerometer. It will also feature a more improved battery life performance which can hopefully surpass the current Atom chips.
Meanwhile, the second MSI WindPad is expected to feature Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 10.1-inch display, 1280×800 resolution slate, mini-USB port, mini-HDMI port, SD card, and accelerometer. As for its OS, MSI is still choosing between Gingerbread and HoneyComb. And according to Andy Tung, MSI’s North American Director of Sales, the Android OS will basically depend on next year’s most latest release.
However, the price and release date for these two tablets are not yet revealed.
