It has launched 2 color versions; one is black and another one is white. Both X600 versions facilitate the same graphic chipset namely ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 with 512MB VRAM and a HDMI output. Other connections such as VGA port, 3 USB jack, an Ethernet port, a headphone jack microphone are also there. The notebook has installed a webcam with Windows Vista Home Premium. It also has a memory card reader, full size keyboard, and even facilitates 6/9 cell battery. The weight of the notebook must be taken into account (4.6lbs). The size of its display is 15.6 inch with the screen resolution support for 1366 * 768 pixels, and the entrance to the Intel CULV, in a notebook with a thick packet of less than 1 inch. The machine also has a lot of air holes at the underside of it. If you frequently put your notebook in bed, the couch, on thighs or other soft surface, these might become clog over time. Since these large number of holes being constituted at the bottom, this would affect the machine’s temperature significantly in the long run.

Overall it can be concluded that the X600 is not quite small, but could be categorized among thin-sized notebooks. The design is good coupled with good battery life. However, it does not particularly stand out among machines of high speed class. The Culver platform is best suited for machines with 12”, 13” or 14in but not for the layer that X600 is in.  The product is available now for £799 (1298 USD). We feel that the price tag for this product is somewhat way more than it truly deserves. What do you think?
