I guess Infinity Ward officials must be scratching their heads right now. Recently, Robert Bowling had announced on his twitter account about the latest patch (1.06) released for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It dispatches the Javelin glitch most players were exploiting in multiplayer modes a few weeks ago. Now, there’s a buzz about the latest exploit on MW2 namely Unlimited ammo glitch. The effect is simple – unlimited ammunition with no reloading on grenades, javelins, launchers and firearms that can be used in Team Death matches and multi-player modes respectively. The result? Several players were pissed, mad and wondering how the hell did that happen? Some claimed it was only a server glitch, some said it was another exploit.
Several COD:MW2 players on the Xbox 360 are complaining about this glitch which is actually an exploit mod that can be passed around easily. What this mod/glitch does is it messes the MW2 map thereby disabling the ammo counter. Scary? Actually, it’s annoying to be owned by guys using this MW2 mod. See video below to believe.
We haven’t seen the unlimited ammo mod file yet but once we do, you’ll be the first to know. Be careful though, you could research the internet for tutorials how to do it but it may contain malicious code that might ruin your day. This glitch/mod was only seen on Xbox 360 platforms. In case you heard similar exploits on PS3 we would be more than thankful to hear it from you in the comments.
Lastly, we haven’t heard of any word/comment from Activision, Infinity Ward nor Microsoft. For sure, they knew this latest ammunition glitch by now. Only time can tell when the next patch will arrive.

I was actually put into a game when i was searching in the Matchmaking Lobby. It jumped me into a game and all i heard were granade launchers going off repeatedly. I didn’t know what was happening until i began to shoot and i noticed that my ammo counter was not responding when i fired a round. I then switched to my shotgun attachment and fired a round and nothing. I still had a full ammunition supply. I realized then that i had to have entered a glitched game because the play resembled that of a modified server. I just changed my class to one in which i had a granade launcher and enjoyed my six minutes of fun. I don’t know how exactly it happend, although i was having server problems and X-BOX Live was running a little sub-par that night, but it was both interesting and kinda scary. If it’s possible that someone was intentionally making that happen then would there ever be such thing as normal gameplay again? Of course the problem will get fixed but for now it’s actually kind of fun to get caught up in one of those glitched games.
Oh my god when I got home from work and sat down to play mw2 I was so mad!!!!!! Every single match I go into everyone is using the umlimtied ammo glitch. I was sooo mad that I reported everyone in one of the rooms to xbox live for breaking the policy. This umlimited ammo glitch might sound fun but it is anything but that if you actually like being able to get the full game experience. I really hope that anyone using this glitch gets punished for what they are doing. I didn’t pay $60 to not be able to play a game b/c some jackass puts a post about the glitch online and everyone starts using it. This needs to be fixed NOW!

When i joined a lobby and they had unlimited ammo, i enjoyed it. It became obvious very quickly that if i just left the lobby, i would no longer have the ammo. Everyone in the lobby gets the unlimited ammo. It’s pretty fair. and if you don’t like, join another lobby. Don’t report people having fun cause youre an uptight bitch, angela.
who cares its a game its ment to be fun, people are having fun by doing this so why report someone for such a shit reason, i wish i found an unlimited ammo game everytime i searched. dont fix shit like this.

Almost all of my games last night had the glitch on but if i left that game or found a new server then i could play the game like normal. I really don’t know why you guys are bitching about it.. You all know its not going to last long. Im sure by the end of the week it will all be fixed. Until then just get a life and quit complaining about a little (soon to be solved) problem.
p.s. Don’t report everyone in the glitched game for whats going on. If they are anything like me then they just got tossed into a game that was already like that and they had nothing to do with the glitch.

IDK why so many people hate it! I thought it was fun as hell and practically wet myself when i realized what was happening. And for as the Angela little fuck, they didn’t do anything to make that happen. I certainly didn’t mod or hack anything. It’s just a huge mix up with IW and it will be done with soon. I just want to enjoy it while i can. Lighten up.
i agree with angela whole heatedly. i shelled out good money to get this game to enjoy the multiplayer, not to have to deal with people who exploit a perfectly good game.its the people who do things like this that turn off so many people to some games, that eventually, there will be no one willing to make the games anymore……thanx ass-holes. stop exploiting flaws in the game and ruining it for the ones who actually pay to play. just because mommy and daddy paid for your xbox, bought you the game and paid for you gold membership doesn’t give you the right to ruin the experience for us all….douchbags
Its actually not a glitch in the game its a mod that you have to download to your xbox (FYI). If the host of the match has this mod then everyone in the room has it. And granted yes I probably shouldn’t have reported everyone in the room but the person that was in that room that downloaded the mod is the one that will get kicked from xbox live. And the unlimited ammo mod (In my opinion) is not fun at all. I actually like being able to play the game without glitch’s or mods that way everyone has a fair chance. Its not fair to justy sit there with you rocket launcher and unload on people. And thats pretty bad if you have to resort to using a mod in order to get kills. And some of you said to enjoy the game and to stop bitching? What do you think your doing? Your bitching at me for bitching so yeah….. You need to practice what you preach! And I’ll bitch all I want!! I’m a woman and thats what women do!! lol

Infinity ward & activision claimed that by not allowing PC users to create dedicated servers, it would prevent cheating and all sorts of unwanted mods.
We can clearly see that since MW2 is out, there have been no glitches, mods or cheating at all. -cough-

Their is one on ps3 I played a round and kept dieing by ac130 with it and it was fun got 58-24 it was decent
I’ve seen it i was on terminal and then i saw a kill cam and this guy was shooting an RPG rapidly and then i went wtf so i got my and i was shooting like crazy and then i got a thumper and i was shooting so fast it was like a sub machine gun i got 57 kills and 12 deaths in it because all i did was shoot down the hallway =P
