Latest video game mod news, a guy named Zenloc from Benheck forums is selling customized miniture Nintendo 64 units. The portable video game system called N64Mini and was dubbed as the “smallest” N64 portable gaming system ever made. Unlike the 3G4 emulator for iPhone, the N64Mini creator flaunted the technical specs of his masterpiece. For more details and images visit the forum.
- Dimensions: 120 x 200 x 50mm
- Psone screen led mod (4 leds of 20,000 mcd each)
- Thirdparty N64 controller with modded analogstick (no dpad, switch for z and l)
- 4 cell 7,4v Li-Polymer battery Amps not sure but you get about 5 hours of battery life.
- Rubber grip around the portable for extra comfort.
- Headphone jack
- AV out jack
- Built-in Volume and Brightness controlls ( Hold start + up/down/left/righ c pad)
Fortunately, Zenloc also created a video demonstration of the N64Mini. Let’s see how this baby works!
No initial tag price was set for each unit. Currently, he’s working on another project – a Game Cube mini. If you’re amazed over this project and interested on owning or customizing a console unit you can contact Zenloc on Benheck forums. He is accepting job request to miniaturize “any” portable units for a right price. I wonder if he could make a mini Xbox 360 that will be cool.
