Rumors keep on fueling the iPad 3 excitement. New rumors now add two additional specifications on the iPad 3: improved battery life and a bigger screen resolution. As usual, the rumors came from the supply chain of Apple. The news on the battery improvement, for example, is neither confirmed nor denied by Dynapack and Simplo Technology, battery suppliers of Apple.

The iPad 3 battery, if rumors are true, will be a super battery, with 14,000 mAH. To illustrate how superior the power supply of the iPad 3 may be, the battery power of existing iPads now is only 6,500 mAH. Clearly, Apple fans will appreciate iPad 3’s battery which will be more than double the power supply of iPads now.
iPad 3 is also said to feature the same screen size, but with a higher resolution. Rumors now place its resolution at 1,536 x 2,048 pixels.
Another rumor is that Apple is said to release two types of iPad 3, a high end and a budget iPad 3. Obviously, the high end iPad 3 will be the more expensive tablet version with its superior features. The budget iPad 3 will have a lower price but with lower specifications.
Finally, a new rumor on the release of the third generation iPad sets it at January 26, 2012, at the iWorld/Macworld conference.
Summing up, let us present the new iPad 3:
- 9.7 inch screen
- QXGA resolution (1,536 x 2,048 pixels)
- Brighter screen (dual LED technology
- A6 processors
- 2 cameras (5 and 8 pixel variant)
- Battery – 14,000 mAH
Don’t get too excited though, all these specifications of iPad 3 are merely RUMORS.
