Xbox Live users will surely be excited to know about the upcoming Xbox Live update. And guess what? It seems that Microsoft has already announced the specific date!

Yes, that’s right! The update will be rolled on the 25th of November – which will be in time for Black Friday. New features will be added to the Xbox Live System and will most likely be offered in a Silverlight-inspired development framework.
The said framework is currently being codenamed as ‘Lakeview’ and will eventually allow other third-party developers to develop their own apps for the Xbox 360 console. The update will also introduce the Twist Control, the new layout for Microsoft’s Xbox Live Dashboard.
Apart from the aforesaid features, Xbox Live users should expect for a Kinect Voice Control and Voice Recognition System that will go along with Comcast, HBO, Channel 4, Channel 5, BBC and LoveFilm apps.
Through the Xbox Live update, users will finally be able to use their hands and voice. All they need to do is to flick between their favorite channels or perform some quick gestures for a corresponding control.
Microsoft is currently finalizing the code for its Xbox Live update. But it seems like they would need to double their efforts to make it in time for the actual launch.
