Newegg Halloween Sale 2013: CoD: Ghosts and Battlefield 4 for PS4 and Xbox One ($10 Gift Card)

Posted on 01 November 2013 by author

For seasoned deal hunters, Halloween is another event to get discounts before everything goes loco on Black Friday. For the past few days, Newegg is on fire giving noteworthy deals you can’t find on any online retailers. Today, the shop offers another set of deals that may perk the interest of gamers.

Under is “Monster Dealhunters” promo (link here), you can pre-order Call of Duty: Ghosts for $59.99 and get a $10 gift card. The game will be shipped to you for free on its release date. Offer is only valid until 11/02 (11:59PM PT).

How good is this deal? Not that much for Xbox 360 and PS3 as it’s already known their prices will drop to $39.99 on Black Friday. What’s interesting though is this offer applies to PS4 and Xbox One. Currently, we haven’t heard any retailer that will sell these items below $59.99 giving the impression this promotional deal from Newegg is good.

Another wild card from the dealer’s page is the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster Limited Edition (PS3) at $34.99. Currently, its price on Amazon is at $40. Take note the game isn’t yet announced for U.S, but in Japan, it will debut on December 26.

Last but not the least, one of our readers notified us that Newegg is still offering a $10 gift card if you’ll pre-order Battlefield 4 on Xbox One and PS4. Similar with CoD: Ghosts, there’s no mention if these specific versions will receive discounts on Black Friday. If you are a frequent shopper on Newegg, this will give the impression the game only cost $49.99. There’s also a post from SD explaining why this promo is a decent deal.
