It seems that Sprint will be going “BIG” in the upcoming CTIA event in Orlando next week. We’ve previously reported about HTC devices coming to Sprint. And now, it’s time to discuss about the Nexus S 4G and the Motorola Xoom.

Based on leaked reports, Sprint and Google are brewing a nifty WiMax-capable smartphone that will be eventually called Nexus S 4G. Details are scarce as of the moment but the device seems legit. What’s the proof? Engadget managed to get hold of a banner containing the purported logo that the next-gen Nexus phone might be using.

Meanwhile, the Motorola Xoom was also reported to be coming into Sprint’s network and will be equipped with WiMax from the get go. The device which is currently being peddled under Verizon’s Network might also be heading to AT&T and T-Mobile as well. The proof to that matter comes when Motorola published a GSM-capable Xoom on its product page. We’re thinking that it isn’t a bad move, at all, considering that the company is going against the iPad 2 and other tablet manufacturers. It’s better to maximize all your options and reap the benefits in the end.

More details about Sprint’s devices will be announced as we near the CTIA event. We’re excited to find out what other gadgets will be under the Carrier’s belt considering that Sprint had already reserved a 2.5-hour slot on the event! There will be some serious stuff, for sure. So stick around.
