For all the customers wondering if there’ll be a Nexus S 4G model coming in the land of Abraham Lincoln? Your question has finally put into rest! As Google officially announced today that Nexus S 4G would be available on Sprint Mobile soon.
According to its PR statement, this should put the first-ever Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) smartphone to experience the fast 4G network speed of Sprint instead of it, relying to UMTS-network only.

Again, this is the same type of Nexus S device which has been previewed a dozen of times ago, which supports the “pure Google experience” since it’s also called as the second-generation of Nexus One a.k.a Google Phone of January 2010.
Nexus S would support the latest version of Android Gingerbread, 4-inch contour display, will run 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 16GB internal memory w/ expandable microSD slot and NFC for mobile-wallet access support in the future. To make things even more interesting, Google and Sprint have tied up for its customers to enjoy Google Voice features without even requiring you to change / port your number. You see, up to this day, it’s still impossible to do this on other Android devices.
The Nexus S 4G will have a price of 199.99 USD after paying the usual contract with Sprint and its release date would be this Spring.
