Nintendo 3DS and Wii U Black Friday 2013: Top 6 Deals

Posted on 23 November 2013 by author

After we posted our DS and Wii Black Friday list, we received requests from our readers of making the same catalog for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. Since there’s a bigger list of items for these devices, we decided to only get the top six deals for each console. Let’s begin!

Nintendo 3DS

1) Fred Meyer’s Limited Edition Cobalt Blue 3DS bundle with Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon at $130. Alternative: H-E-B’s 3DS Luigi’s Mansion bundle at $130

2) Target’s Nintendo 3DS XL handheld at $150

3) Walmart’s Skylanders Swap Force & Disney Infinity Starter Pack at $38 each

4) H-E-B’s Pokemon X or Y at $25 or Less. Alternative: Kmart’s Pokemon X or Y at $35 each.

5) Walmart and Best Buy’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at $15 each

6) Kmart’s Mario & Luigi: Dream Team at $35. Alternative: Target’s Mario & Luigi: Dream Team at $40 with $10 gift card

Other cool deals worth mentioning: Disney Wreck-it-Ralph at $15 (Target), Batman Arkham: Origins Blackgate at $25 (Walmart), The Smurfs 2 at $15 (Walmart) and Kingdom Hearts 3D at $20 (Kmart).

Nintendo Wii U

1) Fred Meyer’s Zelda Wind Waker Wii U Bundle at $250

2) Meijer’s Wii U Bundle with Super Mario Bros. U & Luigi Mario U at $280 with $30 Coupon For Next Purchase

3) Walmart’s Disney Infinity Starter Pack (Wii U) at $38 each. Alternative: Toys R Us offering the same bundle at $38 each

4) Super Mario 3D World at $36 (40% off) at Toys R Us

5) Walmart’s LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes at $15 and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes at $25

6) Walmart’s Scribblenauts Unlimited at $15 and Scribblenauts Unmasked at $25

Other cool deals worth mentioning: Black Ops 2 at $30 (Best Buy), Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag at $40 (Gamestop), Disney Phineas & Ferb: Quest for Cool Stuff at $20 (Gamestop) and Rayman: Legends at $25 (Gamestop).

On this list we prioritized the console bundles as they are expected to get out-of-stock first during a doorbuster sale. Most of the deals we mentioned above are discounted at 20%-40% off their current tags today making them highly valuable on Black Friday.

It’s worth mentioning this list doesn’t include the lightning deals given away by Amazon per day and we strongly suggest you check it continuously in case you haven’t found the items you’re looking for.

Hi where are you finding Fred Meyer’s deal on the Wii U Wind waker Bundle? They have their black Friday ad on their website already and there is nothing in it about this deal! Any info would be appreciated, my son really wants this and I don’t want to trudge down to Freddy’s at 4am only to find out this deal isn’t really offered (which according to their advert, it isn’t).

Sensible comments/suggestions are always appreciated.
