Nintendo Wii Black Friday 2010: Best Deals (Guide)

Posted on 05 October 2010 by pinoytutorial

Heads up! We have some good news to share about how will the sales of Nintendo Wii unfold for this year’s Black Friday.

Last year, Nintendo already made a gallant move of offering their Nintendo Wii for 199 USD plus a 50 USD gift card courtesy of Walmart bringing it down to under the impression of 149 USD only. This year the prediction will be even more astounding, as you can see the presence of Microsoft Kinect and Xbox 360 Slim is just too big to ignore as well for the onslaught that was Sony Playstation 3 + Motion Controller.

Last June, Microsoft already announced that their new fangled Kinect device will be available on November 5. Three weeks behind the Black Friday 2010 sale. It was rumored that a solo Kinect will be tagged at 150 USD while having it bundle with a Xbox 360 slim will cost a total of 399 USD only. We already have our Xbox 360 Black Friday 2010 prediction and it will be priced at 199 USD plus a 100 dollar gift-card.  Nintendo will certainly market their Wii below the threshold of Microsoft’s new toy considering they didn’t release anything exciting for their Wii this year except for the Nintendo 3DS which we won’t be seeing until February of 2010.

Also it would be lucrative to mention that Sony’s new Playstation Move bundle (complete with the motion controller, PS eye camera sports and Champions Blu-Ray game + Playstation Move Demo Disc) will be only tagged at 99 USD on its initial release whereas you can bundle it with a Sony PS3 slim for only 399 USD – same with the price of a bundled Kinect + Xbox 360 Slim combo.

Here’s to say that it will be very advantageous for Nintendo if they will lower their price to something PS3+Motion Controller / Xbox 360 Slim + Kinect combo can’t handle. My best bet? Something like a 149 USD worth of Nintendo Wii Console with a 50 or 100 dollar worth of gift card courtesy of WalMart or BestBuy. If you do the math, it’s a win-win situation for all the buyers.

So what do you think? Is it the Wii deal you have been waiting for this year? Show us in your comments below.
