With an estimate number of up to nine million pre-orders for Modern Warfare 3, one can’t help but ask what type of preparation did Activision initiate so its servers would be able to handle such massive traffic when gamers all log-in at once on its debut?
Well folks, while there’s still no report about a large cluster of players having problems signing in with MW3′s servers, its now revealed that Call of Duty: Elite has taken its toll having an error of not being able to accept registration from millions of players sending queries at once.

According to this post by Beachhead’s boss Chacko Sonny, the amount of registration have exceeded the firm’s most optimistic expectations creating bottleneck problems which is a common server error when too many people are trying to login over a narrow server.
Naturally, the team is doing everything they can to increase their capability to accept hundreds of thousands of gamers matching with Modern Warfare 3’s debut today. Beachhead assures everyone that their data is safe and as soon as the surge of traffic has subsided, “it’ll be waiting for you”.
The best advice we can give to those players who can’t register is to simply wait, chill out for a few hours, have some sarsaparilla, and then try doing it later. Just don’t be that guy trying to send multiple registration queries hence, clogging elite’s servers even more.
