Yesterday, we gave you news about a possibility of a new attack going to be launched against PSN, as soon as it gets back online; whereas the prime suspect for this imminent cyber-assault is the group of “Anonymous”.
As of today, FT reveals about a “confession” about some Anonymous members who revealed that two members on their group may have something to do with the PSN hack-attack which is now about to reach its 3rd week of disruption.

The Anonymous member said, they saw a list of technical details concerning the vulnerability of PSN posted on the group’s user chat room, not long before the attack was done on April 20. Another veteran member of Anonymous called as “Kayla”, said that “If you say you are Anonymous, and do something as Anonymous, then Anonymous did it,”. “Just because the rest of Anonymous might not agree with it, doesn’t mean Anonymous didn’t do it.”
Whatever the case may be, it doesn’t take a scientist to figure out that Anonymous, in one way or another, has a participation in the attack against Playstation Network. For all we know, they are the team who are responsible of bringing PSN down last March through a DDOS attack.
Naturally, Sony are teaming up with the largest security firms in USA (FBI, Homeland security, different security agencies) to know soon who are the liable people behind this cyber-attack; likewise, they will be treated as criminals if they are proven guilty in the court.
