Wrap up
We are quite happy with the release of Nokia 5730 but not too ecstatic about it. It comes with a solid compact case but not too extraordinary. We are not sure but why do we get a feeling that the casing design of this phone seems similar with other phone brands?
It looks like halfway between an E series and N series nokia phone. Design wise it looks like an E75 and similar with N series phones except that the 5730 has a lower price.
We commend its brilliant LCD display even under sunlight. There are also dedicated keys for its music just like other xpressmusic phones as well as gaming like N-Gadget phones. QWERTY keyboard seems to be an icing on the cake, but overall functions seems quite redundant if you ask us.
Camera is quite good and practical with its 3.15MP resolution. Battery could be a problem having only 1000mah rating. Music playback could be quite satisfactorily at 25hrs.
It wasn’t the WOW phone Nokia has yet to release, but could be a good alternative. It has good connectivity functions, Xpress music controls (it features Play and say Voice control for music), gaming and web browsing. Bottom line is it’s a good mobile phone you could consider.
