After using a high-end smartphone from Android or that one from Apple, there’s really no turning back. I mean, even if the price is cheap I wouldn’t get a dumbphone anymore unless it’s for free or, if I am a part of those percentage in the world who just want a talk-and-text cellphone.
As of today, amidst the tons of mobile devices being showcased at the MWC event, a new leak arrives about an upcoming Symbian-based mobile device in which it looks like the Nokia C5-03 with a twist and our pundits call this as the Nokia C5-04, which could come as the Nuron 2 device once it gets a proper release.
According to Bluetooth.com, the C5-04 is a 3G touch “smartphone” device capable to connect with the high-speed HSDPA network. Strangely, this device seems to be not affected with the Nokia-WP7 partnership and the site states that this device would still be packing with OVI Maps, customizable home screens and a “wealth of apps”.
Interestingly, you can see that it’s heading to North America which means it may land under the T-mobile carrier.
Like I said, Nuron 2 is a bonafide dumbphone no matter how you look it on different angles. The only reason why this device is getting some buzz on the blogosphere is because it will land on T-mobile, a possibility that Nokia may be heading on that carrier for the future release of its WP7 smartphones.
