Sure, the Symbian-powered smartphones “appears” to be dead already just because of the announcement of its CEO, that it will be using WP7 OS as its primary from now on. But the fact remains, S^3 platform is still currently being used by Nokia’s almighty champ, the E7 device. Just so you know, this device was first leaked last September, on the way to its release date on USA last year. As of today, it appears it’s already for sale in Amazon and its price is somewhat not the sweetest thing since the release of N8.

As you can see, the Nokia E7 UK version will be similar with its US model, packing with a 4-inch AMOLED screen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 16GB internal memory and 8MP camera w/ 720p video recording capability. Meanwhile, it’ll have HDMI output, supports GSM / Quad Band and UMTS / HSDPA frequencies plus, this one will come as a unlocked version.
As for its price, it’s currently tagged at 649 USD, somewhat cheaper than its 679-dollar worth of pre-order price last March. Likewise, just don’t ask us until when will this device be the “greatest” smartphone of Nokia, since we all know it will be unleashing its fleet of WP7 devices this year.
