If there’s one thing we can all agree with Nokia phones today, their release are subjected to uncertainty. Opening your eagle eyes for a moment, its whole ecosystem is fragmented not being able to clarify if it’ll stick to Symbian, Windows Phone 7 or MeeGo. Naturally, this is bringing confusion for customers should they choose to buy its handsets.
As of today, another phone has been spotted called as Nokia N5. At first glance, there’s really nothing new to it and to call it “cool” would be an overstatement. It packs with the usual Symbian Anna OS, a touchscreen display, predictable 4-inch screen, and it resembles the Nokia 5800 of yesteryear when you look at its form-factor. Other details include Bluetooth & WiFi support, NFC for future mobile wallet technology and supports band for AT&T or T-Mobile in USA.
Don’t get me wrong here, we like to see Nokia strive among with other Smartphone OS like iOS and Android but seriously? The company needs to focus with only one or two operating system and reveal a real superphone so users will be entice to buy it. With the Nokia N5 or Nokia 7 (Zeta) all I can see is a device that will be D.O.A in the market.
Now that’s a certainty.
