In the tech world, every hack is always counted no matter how dumb it may seem to be. Just a week ago, we have previewed several feats coming from XDA-developers of trying to open the gateway of Android 2.3 to majority of high-end smartphones starting from Galaxy S to Nexus One and if you think that’s not enough, we’ve already seen HTC HD2 running on Windows Phone 7 instead of its usual Mobile 6.5. Which brings the question, where have all the hacks for Nokia had gone? Well, you can count this DSLR on Nokia N8 as a good contender but certainly, this is not the enthusiasts have in their mind, and you can count us in for that.

I’m sure some of you got a nerdgasmic experience over that presentation. I mean, who would have thought Gingerbread would run so beautifully on a Nokia smartphone? Not to mention the whole impression for the UI experience was very snappy and fluid to the touch. So far, there’s no download link or any guide to port Android 2.3 on Nokia N900, but we can always hope for can’t we?
