Nokia has been known to be user friendly and I believe you will agree. Nokia started to be just a basic phone but since technology has been innovating things you really didn’t think that Nokia would be left behind right? Well they didn’t of course. They have started with the N-Series then we got the Xpress Music and now the X-Series mobile phones. I bet you have heard of the X6, well this is quite similar but made affordable. So let me take you to what this X3 can provide.
X3 will deliver the following:
- QVGA display (not good news for me)
- 3.2 megapixel fixed camera
- S40 user interface( 6th edition)
- FM radio ‘RDS”
- Built-in antena (loudspeakers are working even if the headset is unplugged)
- Stereo speaker
- 3.5mm audio jack
- 26 hours of music playback
- Bluetooth
- microUSB port & microSD card slot (16 GB supported)
- 2GB memory via microSD
- Ovi Store, Maps and Share
- Quad-band support

So much for the features and what it can provide whoever will buy X3, but let us get into a deeper stage because if you think you will be happy knowing what it can deliver you might think twice with the details I will unleash! Here they are..
You would be thinking why it doesn’t have:
- Smart dialing
- A 3G connectivity
- Office document viewer
Flaws you would definitely find and notice:
- Poor display & viewing angles
- Slider has an annoying friction
- S40 interface thumbs down performance
- Where’s the multi-tasking??
- Software bugs
- Limited at QCIF@15fps Video recording
- If you’re outside you won’t be able to text nor see the screen if the sun is high
My first impression with this phone is “Wow! Looks totally fashionista” but after having a feel and a little bit of hands on deal with X3 I have to admit that I was quite frustrated. I even told myself that, I hope Nokia didn’t have to tell all those things (you know all the things X3 can do but fail to deliver). Anyway the phone is sleek and handy, the weight is pretty neat at 103 grams. I have a video to share, but sorry to say this is not my type of phone (performance wise). So if you think X rated is a good thing, for this one it’s NOT.
