A lot of PC manufacturers are set to launch around 200 new products that will feature NVIDIA GeForce GPUs with Intel Sandy Bridge CPUs early next year. Apparently, Sandy Bridge is the first processor that will include an integrated GPU that is directly embedded within its die that is expected to help in improving the power efficiency and overall performance of the device itself.

In other words, the first Sandy Bridge laptops will be coming up with quad-core parts even without the presence of NVIDIA. These new laptops are expected to come in a wide variety of notebooks and desktop system from leading PC manufacturers such as Acer, Alienware, ASUS, Dell, Fujitsu-Siemens, HP, Lenovo, Samsung, Sony, Toshiba and other big names in the industry.
NVIDIA obviously awakened the world with the power of computer graphics since 1999. And as more potential customers demand for continuous growth and development as far as graphics processing power is concerned, more PC manufacturers will turn to NVIDIA GeForce GPUs in order to deliver what they need and that is higher levels of performance.
As compared with those basic graphics integrated with Sandy Bridge CPUs, GeForce GPUs provide more advanced features and also compatible with the latest PC games that also includes those based on Microsoft DirectX 11. No wonder the demands for discrete graphics solutions continue to grow and remain strong. In fact, according to Mercury Research, GPU shipment is expected to grow double between the years 2009 and 2014.
Nvidia GeForce GPUs offer different features like:
- NVIDIA 3D Vision technology
- PhysX or physics engine support
- CUDA architecture support
- NVIDIA Verde
Consumers will surely love GeForce notebooks not only because of its excellent performance, but also because of the kind of PC experience it provides. All of its business partners as well as some analysts also believed that most consumers have learned to love NVIDIA because it has certainly enhanced most PCs and enable it to give an exceptional computing experience that is unmatched by other GPUs out there.

Obviously, the combined processing power of Intel Sandy Bridge and NVIDIA will provide more customers with the building blocks necessary in establishing an ultimate gaming PC platform. Both NVIDIA and Intel seem to share the same passion and that is to be able to deliver a PC technology that will attract many developers and consumers out there.
