Nvidia, the word leader when it comes to visual computing technologies has recently released the all-new GeForce GTX 580, which apparently is the fastest GPU ever launched to market. It is no secret that Nvidia’s previous GPU version that is the GeForce GTX 480 may be the fastest GPU available, but apparently it did not turn out to be the kind of GPU they have expected.
Nvidia decided to come up with the GeForce GTX 580 in order to address the issues concerning the GeForce GTX 480 and the GF100 as well. The same GF110 GPU found in the GF100 powers the GTX 580. However, there were some improvements made with the design and the manufacture of the chip as well as its PCB and cooling solution. This resulted to a faster, high-performance level and lower-power card. And as compared with its predecessor, the GTX 580 produces less noise as well.
Basically, the GeForce GTX 580 is based on the same Fermi architecture and was designed to make the most of the latest Direct X capabilities. Apparently, the most important capability that this new product has is tessellation. Nvidia claims that it would be able deliver tessellation performance of up to 160 percent faster than other GPUs available in the market today. Tessellation is important for gamers since it allows game designers to add up intricate details in game polygons without the need of sacrificing performance.

Given this list of specs and features, it seems that the GeForce GTX 580 will really focus in giving a higher performance level. In addition to these, Nvidia also made some enhancements as well to its cooler design. It now comes with a newly designed Vapor Chamber cooler that has the ability to handle intense heat as well as temperature fluctuations.
This GPU seems to offer a broad experience to its users and give them endless possibilities as well. Maingear has announced that it will be one of the first companies to offer the said graphics card that will come pre-installed with its customized units. The GeFore GTX 580 is offered at a very affordable price of $ 499 only.
