We’ve already seen how the Olympus SZ-10 performs last month packing with an amazing 14MP image-sensor and 18x zoom lenses over a compact body. And today at the CeBit 2011, it appears a lot of pundits are reporting it would have a brother which is a bit advance in terms of its specifications and some subtle features.
So the name is Olympus SZ-30MR and it will sport specifications like a 16 megapixel sensor whereas it packs a whopping 24x zoom optical lenses, again, on a very compact form-factor which is perfect for paparazzi, err.. people whose job is to shoot photos at fine detail even they are meters away!
In addition to that, this camera will have a dual image stabilization capability thanks to its Multi-Recording capability, in which you can record full 1080p HD video clips while shooting for still images as well in its full resolution – how cool is that? Actually, that’s the real X-factor of this device, because if you will compare it with other MR type of cameras, they can shoot simultaneous video clips and photos but the resolution plummets.
Other features include a 3D capture and photo mode, HDMI support, face detection and supports SD / SDHC for its storage. If you are interested, you can get the Olympus SZ-30MR for a price of 329 euros / 454 USD on its release date this month!
