Owning Homefront just got easier (and cheaper). The new video game scheduled to be released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC by the 15th of March 2011 can be pre-ordered at OnLive for just $50.

The package will include a Free OnLive Game System and Full PlayPass for intant access to Metro 2033. OnLive, a gaming-on-demand medium via the Internet, announced this deal which will run until March 14. Pre-ordering would cost extra for shipping plus the hardware will only be received until after the deal expires – regardless of when you ordered the game. Nonetheless, it sounds like a great deal considering that the whole package normally costs 99 bucks.
The video game developed by Kaos Studios and published by THQ recently faced controversy with the game being banned in South Korea considering the game is set in America in 2027 with a nuclear-armed Korean People’s Army invading the USA. It has been censored by removing all references to North Korea as well as photos of its leader, Kim Jong-il. THQ wants to point out that Homefront is a work of fiction and certain changes have already been made.
Join the resistance and grab this cool Homefront video game package while supplies last!
