Surprise, surprise! Remember the Opera 10.5 browser once touted as the fastest browser on earth? Well you should understand that a couple of months ago, it was revealed on a mobile version for iPhone – Opera Mobile 10.1, and so far, it has been receiving some ‘cute’ reviews from critics. Today, Red O decides to unveil Opera Mobile 10.1 for Android as a beta release and the first-impressions we’re hearing are somewhat impressive. Just what you expect for a Mobile Opera Browser.

The Opera Mobile 10.1 for Android holds some interesting features like: Easy tab management with visual tabs, Opera Presto rendering engine, Sync your bookmarks across devices with Opera Link, Ability to be set as the default browser, Geolocation support, SVG support.
Aside from that, you can feel the smooth fluid of control once you do the pinch-to-zoom on your Android display and I can say it’s somewhat better in terms of speed when you compare it with your default browser, not to mention that the arrangement of windows when you want to jump from tab to tab is very efficient as well. You can download the beta version right now straight from the Android market and expect its official version to be available very soon. To see is to believe!
