Previously, we have covered all the reason why the new Palm Pre 2 device is going to fail, if HP will plan this new webOS 2.0 device to be marketed on USA, just because there are so many smartphones that can extinguish its orange flame even before it lands on the stores this holiday season. Just like what we predicted, the company is going for a European release for the Pre 2 and so far, there were no carriers revealed during its press-launch on Canada.

Recently, new leaks are building that Rogers will be the carrier chosen to support Pre 2 on its launch on Canada. Coming from a tipster, the device was shown to be running on a Rogers network and it was rumored to have a November 9 launch date with 3-year voice / data contract under 99.99 USD (remember its still just a rumor).
At this point, this will be the 3rd piece of the puzzle for the 5 or 6 devices that HP is going to launch this year under the name ‘palm’ or rather, powered by WebOS 2.0. As you can see we still have the Palmpad looming on the background.
But the real question is, will the Canadians really do care if Palm Pre 2 lands on their soil?
