At this point, we really don’t care what carrier will the Palm Pre 2 land on. Just because it’s the type of device that would be forgotten by most of the people in a month or two. Not trying to become bitter here, but we previously report that if Palm Pre 2 is going to be a success then it should market itself well starting on countries in Europe – where Android and iPhone aren’t that too dominant. Especially on these instances that their new Web OS 2.0 is just about to be revealed.

But now, there’s a leak that Palm Pre 2 will be going to Verizon. Which could mean it will be release on USA as well. Probably a good idea if Palm was a popular smartphone but the case isn’t. So what it should do is try to mimic the marketing strategy of Microsoft towards its WP7 device and plant the seed first on popular European carriers like (T-mobile, O2, etc) then when it earns that much needed buzz, that’s the time it will be released on USA.
As for the latest news. There’s also a rumor that Palm Pre 2 will be released on Sprint or AT&T. Question is, who cares?
