In the recent 2011 NAB gathering, Panasonic is very enthusiastic to announce that its new Panasonic AG-3DA1 is a certified “out of this world” 3D camcorder. And that means literally.

The Panasonic AG-3DA1 3D camcorder will be aboard NASA’s Space Shuttle Atlantis on June 28 to document the International Space Station. And this means that Panasonic’s HD 3D camcorder is a top-notch device fit for space (and NASA’s strict standards). Aside from the 3D camcorder, Panasonic will also provide a 25.5inch BT-3Dl2550 3D LCD monitor and its Toughbook laptop units. Other than filming the Space Station in 3D, NASA astronauts will also utilize the 3DA1 to conduct several scientific missions.
