Panasonic has a bright idea to start the New Year and that is to release five spectacular cameras to fit different needs and different budget.
Let’s start with the crown jewel (so to speak) first which are TZ10 and TZ8. The two posses 12x zoom capabilities with a bright resolution of twelve megapixels. Both have been injected with Power Optical Image Stabilizer that promises to be twice as effective as the Mega version! The two superior cameras are almost identical but what makes TZ10 the senior of TZ8 is that TZ10 brags a built-in GPS receiver and its larger resolution display compared to TZ8.
In addition, the TZ10 has 3” 460k dots, which means 3 inch LCD screen at the back for a good view of pictures taken and will be taken and to view videos . The 460k is all about the 480×320 pixel capability which is held responsible for the TZ10’s power to deliver 4:3,3:3 and 16:9 shooting mechanism and as for the TZ8 it can deliver 230k dots with a 2 inch LCD.
Moving on to the 3rd and probably the most unique and sporty among the five is the FT2 which will definitely be preferred by people who loves adventures and travelling. This camera can brave a drop of up to 2 meters and defy underwater of 10 meters deep. Unlike the first two I have mentioned this one will deliver a 14 megapixel resolution camera that is also dressed with a 28-128 lens that can survive the cold at negative ten Celsius.
Last but not the least is the pocket friendly digital camera ZX3 together with FX66. Now don’t judge these two just by the tag of budget friendly it already means that the quality and features it can provide has been compromised that is definitely not the case for these two.
Panasonic made this cameras in top shape too without the ouch on your pockets. Buth has 14 megapixel resolution and ½.33 inch CCD sensor with 25 millimeter angel lens. The only difference is that ZX3 can go as far as 200millimeter for the zoom while FX66 can only max at 125 millimeter. The two flaunts a 2.7 inch LCD capable of 230k dot display.
Price tag are as follows (nothing is official yet but this is our assumption)
TZ10 $399 – $430
TZ8 $400 – $ 480
FT2 $450- $490
ZX3 & FX66 $330- $370
