Looks like or friends in Panasonic wants to get children friendly and has decided to give one of its popular point-and-shoot a revamp, giving their Lumix DMC-FP7D a Disney feel to it.

Worry not for those who are wondering what changed with the camera. There’s nothing drastic really. Basically, it is still the Panasonic Lumix camera that we know, only with a few aesthetic changes that adds more fun to it.
It is noteworthy to share that the refurbished Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP7D camera still comes with the usual specifications sporting a 16.1 megapixel CCD sensor, 4x optical zoom, an image stabilization feature and a 3.5-inch touch-screen display with 84mb internal memory to boot.

Just like all other point and shoots in the market, it is provided with an SD card slot so the user can expand its memory and take plenty of photos. The only different thing is that Mickey Mouse graphics on the sliding lens door. Its interface has also been enhanced and now you can see Disney characters on it. Additionally, the DMC-FP7D now provides the ability to add fancy borders, Disney character-themed icons and phrases to their photos.
It would be available in Japan on June 10 priced at ¥30,000. It has not been announced if Panasonic will release the same version outside Japan.
