When it comes to television, Panasonic is quite a popular brand. The Japanese multinational electronics corporation has indeed spent its years in developing the best quality TVs. And if you have been delighted with their Plasma TVs, then you will surely be eager to know about their new terrestrial digital high-definition LCD TV.

Last December 17, Panasonic has unveiled the Viera TH-L42G3. The said model is part of the company’s Viera G3 series and features a 42-inch display screen. Aside from that, the Viera TH-L42G3 is equipped with a two-speed drive IPSα Panel technology. The television also features LED backlight, 2 HDMI ports, DLNA port, Ethernet support, Viera link, and video-on-demand connectivity.
But what’s more unique about this model is its ability to record content in full high-definition resolution that can be stored in SD, SDHC, and SDXC cards. This is pretty useful especially when users want to record a full show or movie. And since SDXC cards can store up to 64GB of data, users can truly enjoy up to 5 hours of full HD video recording at a speed of 24Mbps. Furthermore, users can also record content via external HDD using the television’s built-in USB port.
So if you want to get one, Panasonic’s Viera TH-L42G3 costs around 204,980 Yen ($1800) and is set to be released on February 18, 2011. It is only available in Japan.
