USB 3.0 has had mixed reviews since it’s release, but all of them have been favorable for the speed it brings to the modern computing world. There have been more storage, faster read and write speeds, and smaller size footprints. Patriot decided to up the ante and went with one that goes way beyond the speed of normal USB 2.0 and some USB 3.0 items by bringing in their Supersonic USB 3.0 flash drive.

The speed is astounding when you read or hear about it. Compared to the usual speed of current USB sticks in the market today, the 70 MB / sec write speed and gthe 100 MB / sec read speeds is really leaving the rest behind in a trail of dust.
The Patriot Supersonic USB 3.0 flashdrive uses a mythical “quad channel” tech coupled with a native USB 3.0 controller to squeeze those additional speeds. The Patriot Supersonic USB 3.0 flashdrive is bringing the competition of portable storage into untold levels of speed and efficiency especially for the mobile user.
The Patriot Supersonic (sounds like an American Military weapon) USB 3.0 flashdrive is available in 32 GB and 64 GB variants starting in the first quarter (January to March) of 2011 with no available pricing yet.
