It’s usually a good thing to start out kids young when it comes to a career or sport or hobby or whatever. But when it comes to computers, its a hard thing to trust an expensive piece of hardware to sticky fingers, spills and the occasional temper tantrum that could result in broken hinges, sticky keys and a broken down hunk of metal and plastic. Here is the solution to that, the PeeWee Power 2.0, the Toughbook for tots.

This is the PeeWee Company’s revision of their kid-friendly computer series. Here are the specs:
- 1.6GHz N270 Atom processor
- 1GB of RAM
- 30GB of HDD
- 3x USB ports
- Mic and Head phone jack
- Built-in Webcam
- VGA out
- Windows 7

Although using netbook specs, this little toughbook is the ticket to appeasing the curiosity of tots when it comes to Daddy and Mommy’s work laptop. There are even 15 educational games and 2 security software aimed for the kids to ensure distraction and protection when going online for the first time.
This little netbook can also survive small spills but not total drenchings of goo, so don’t throw those sippy cups out yet. This will be available for $449 and is available now at the PeeWee website.
