Planning to go on an adventure? Don’t just yet until you got one of these: Pentax OPTIO WG-1 and WG-1 GPS camera. Pentax just unveiled their latest point and shoot cameras specially built for outdoor snapping.

Both rugged cameras have the same features expect for one. WG-1 GPS camera has the ability to track and record GPS positioning. Pentax Optio WG-1 and WG-1 GPS are equally designed with great durability features. WG-1 is waterproof up to 33 ft deep, cold proof to as low as 14 degrees F, dustproof, shock-resistant for drops up to 5 feet, and crush proof against pressure up to 100 kilograms of force.
Wait! That’s just not it guys. Pentax further features a 14 megapixel sensor, 5x optical zoom and a larger 2.7 inch LCD. Nature trippers can also record on a widescreen 720p HD video at 30 frames per second. It has an HDMI port for beautiful playback of images and videos on HDTVs. It also incorporates an enhanced digital microscope mode that offers 5 macro LEDs.

Outdoor photographers will have to wait until April to grab one of these. Pentax Optio WG-1 is reported to be out for $349.95 while the WG-1 GPS will be tagged at $399.99.
