Given the current economic situation, more consumers are looking for the best computing value without sacrificing performance required to maintain their digital lifestyle. And when it comes to processors, AMD is definitely one of the most aggressive in coming out with new developments and improvements and the latest of which is the Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition Processor . This new processor is basically geared up towards the growing segment of value-conscious PC users who are looking for a full-featured product with the best-in-class performance that will further enhance their computing capabilities whether at work, at home or at play.

Basically, the Phenom II X6 1100T is a six-core processor that has a default clock speeds ranging from 3.2 GHz to 3.3 GHz and has the capability to increase Turbo Core frequency from 3.6 GHz to 3.7 GHz. The Turbo Core frequency is only supported on Thuban-based processors like the Phenom II X6 and increases operating frequency only if fewer cores are being actively used.

Apparently the Phenom II X6 processor will be the last of the Phenom II series and also believed to be AMD’s fastest desktop processor to date. The processor was designed to replace the 1090T and just like its predecessor, the X6 1100T is a Black Edition that only means that it has an unlocked multiplier that allows for greater overclocking headroom.
There are no other changes made to X6 1100 T since this processor was manufactured based on the Thuban core with 45nm SOI and packed with 128 KB per core consisting of 64KB instruction and 64KB data. In addition to this, it has also 4KB L1 cache, 6x512KB L2 cache, and 6MB shared L3 cache as well. The memory channel is also a dual-channel and supports speed of up to DDR3-1600 MHz.
In order to make a room for this new six-core processor, AMD has made a little price shuffling and made this new processor cheaper than the original price of its predecessor 1090T. The Phenom II X6 1100T will be retailed at a price of $ 265 only. AMD has also cut-down the price of the 1090T and offered it at $ 235 only. So if you are looking for great computing performance that offers the best value for your money, better check this Phenom II X6 1100T processor.
