Philip’s GoGear Connect PMP is now back in the market with a new look and additional features that will make all techie fanatics would die to have.

It was only back in August – September 2010 when Philips followed the footsteps of Samsung’s PMP (portable media players) and showcased their GoGear Connect gadget, the first and only PMP to have an Android OS. And you won’t be seeing a white colored GoGear Connect with a trackball anymore. The updated Philip’s GoGear connect is now black, with 3 main buttons for the users.
Maybe you’re dying to know more what has changed and what’s new with Philip’s Go Gear Connect. Hence, here are the following features/specifications of the Android-powered PMP:
- 3.2 inch capacitivie touch screen display
- 720p HD video playback
- Revised the O.S. from Android 2.1 to Gingerbread(2.3)
- It is Wi-Fi enabled although there’s no 3G. It also has an access to the Android market so feel free to download all the apps you want.
- Has an 8/16g memory (32g to be determined)
- Comes with a set of Sound Isolation headphones for safe listening
Better save up for this because Philip’s GoGear Connect PMP will be released this September 2011 and it is quoted with a price of 179 USD.
