If you missed back issues of Playboy, then you’ll be happy to know that all issues, from the first issue of 1953 to the latest one, will be available in iPad soon.
The full catalog of Playboy Magazine will be available on the Apple tablet by March and this will come as uncensored a it will be faithful to its original form, according to the Playboy founder himself Hugh Hefner as he happily tweeted on Twitter about the news.
There was one problem however. Since the Playboy Magazine will be uncensored, this meant it will show frontal nudity and other adult entertainment stuff. If we could remember correctly, Apple founder and CEO Steve Jobs said (and emphasized) that he will be keeping adult materials off his mobile devices and won’t allow them to be shown in whatever way. Now, how will the Playboy be delivered in iPad?
Well, that would be very intriguing to know because if Apple allows frontal nudity, it would definitely blur the line between innocent adult entertainment and pornography.
But, knowing Hugh Hefner, who is not only the founder of the magazine, but is also considered one of the influential people in the world, he will think of ways to persuade Steve Jobs to allow Playboy magazine in the iPad. Maybe, he can ask Jobs to create an application to block minors from seeing the magazine, while the adults can read it.
We’ll see what will happen in March and how Jobs and Hefner will deal with this.
